Flamengo kitchen professionals pay tribute to Michael

By - in

Striker Michael received a tribute from the kitchen staff at Ninho do Urubu. The player, who wasn't a fan of salads, now has one named after him. Bruna Ribeiro, the training center's nutritionist, shared this story with the official website.

"I'm responsible for the menus at the Training Center. One day, the chefs got together to make a potato, egg, and yogurt salad, and we put it out for the athletes to try. Michael was the first to try it, he really liked it and asked to have it always. After that, it became a routine to serve this salad, but until then it didn't have a name, so we decided to call it the "Michael Salad," said Bruna.

When asked about the number 19's reaction to the news, the nutritionist added:

"He was so happy. These days it's part of his routine to eat it. He wasn't a big fan of salad, but he really likes this one."
