In a press conference, vice-president of football Kleber Leite announced the departure of four players from the red-and-black squad. Roni, Leandro Salino, Bruno Mezenga and Advaldo are no longer part of the squad that will attempt to win its sixth Brazilian championship.

The departure of Roni, who played in 21 games and scored three goals, was basically due to the excellent relationship between Flamengo and Cruzeiro.

"I responded to Perrela's request because Roni wasn't getting much use. He will be released and will report to Cruzeiro tomorrow," Kleber said. Bruno Mezenga is going to Fortaleza on loan until the end of the year. The 18-year-old forward has played 12 professional games. In the last Carioca Junior Championship, Mezenga was the team's top scorer with 13 goals in 14 games.

Leandro Salino returns to Ipatinga at the request of the president of the Minas Gerais club.

Midfielder Advaldo was loaned to Avaí de Santa Catarina, also on loan.
