Flamengo's current good form this season is the result of hard work, but it's also due to the unconditional support the beloved team receives from the stands. Against Corinthians, once again the fans put on a show and pushed Flamengo towards another victory in the Brazilian Championship.

In the national competition, Flamengo averages more than 50 fans per game. This is the highest attendance among all 20 clubs competing in the 2018 Série A. In total, they played five home games, all at the Maracanã stadium.

Flamengo also holds the record for the largest attendance in the 2018 Brazilian Championship. The "Mais Querido" (Most Beloved) team defeated Internacional 2-0 in a match valid for the fourth round of the competition, with 60.182 fans in attendance.

Goalkeeper Diego Alves commented on the importance of always playing with a packed Maracanã stadium and cheering on his beloved team during matches.

"It's proven that when the fans are with the team, performance and confidence certainly increase. It's a start, and we know we're building something important for the future. This requires patience from them. There will be games we lose, even when we want to win, and we need their patience to perform at our best," said the number 1.

Defender Léo Duarte also highlighted the difference the fans make in the stands.

"Our fans are amazing and we really need them to continue doing well in the rest of the championship and also in the rest of the year."

The Nation also makes its mark in other parts of the country. In the matches against Ceará and also against Chapecoense, the fans sold out the tickets and showed the strength of the Biggest Fanbase in the World.
