Rafinha highlights Flamengo's DNA
Right-back values the work done by the red-black team
By Communication - Flamengo - inThere is no lack of work, dedication and concentration in the red-black squad, as highlighted by right-back Rafinha in a press conference on Tuesday morning (10), at Ninho do Urubu. When asked about the red-black team's good phase, the player said that he always tries to give advice and keep the younger athletes' feet on the ground.
"I always try to stay close to the younger players. I know what it's like. Flamengo is a very big club. I've experienced this a lot in my career. We always try to pass on information to them. Football is complicated because when you think you're on top, you can feel down. It's not all joy. There's a phrase I like: "success and failure are not forever." But they're very smart. They listen. They're different. What happens in the games doesn't surprise me because I watch them train. They can fly as high as they want, but if possible, keep your feet on the ground and success will come naturally," he emphasizes.
For Rafinha, the DNA of the Flamengo team can be summed up in one word: work.
"It's work. We've been working hard every day. It's no surprise (the good form) because the way we're working, this development is natural. We apply the training execution to the games. The players got the message," he emphasizes.
The red-black squad returns to work on the morning of this Wednesday (11), at Ninho do Urubu. The team's next game will be against Santos, on Saturday (14), at Maracanã.
