In an interview with FlaTV this Wednesday (22), full-back Rafinha sang, praised the red-black fans and recalled decisive moments for Flamengo's victorious season in 2019. Check it out below!

Games against Emelec in the Libertadores

"It was the games that gave us life. The return match, at Maracanã, was crucial; it showed that we had the ability to achieve great things in the end. But, of course, we needed to work, form the team, create an identity. I knew the Mister had this ability, because the athletes he has under his command are of great quality."

Flamengo fans

"I confess it surprised me. It was impressive to see the strength of the fans up close. I'm not going to suck up, but Flamengo's fans are very different. They make all the difference in games. There are games where we lose, sometimes the team isn't playing well, and the fans start to support us. That makes all the difference."

The challenge of playing for Rubro-Negro and the year 2019

"It was a special year. I decided to take on the challenge of returning to Brazil and playing here. Braz and Spindel went to Germany to talk to me. There were several meetings. It was very difficult, after 14 years in Europe. Returning to Brazil is complicated, because I already had my roots in Germany; it was a life I built there. Coming back and in six months we managed to win two trophies like the Brasileirão and the Libertadores, continuing to play well, was special."
