Rafinha praises Jorge Jesus' work at Mengão
The right-back stated that Mister makes everything easier for the red-black players
By Communication - Flamengo - inAfter securing qualification for the Conmebol Libertadores final, Flamengo returns to the field for the Brazilian Championship next Sunday (27), at 19 pm, against CSA. The match, valid for the 28th round of the competition, will be played at Maracanã. Before training this Friday (25), right-back Rafinha spoke to the press and highlighted his desire to win titles wearing the red-black Manto.
"My goal was to always be champion. Of course, I knew it would be difficult; there was little time to prepare. We soon had two finals against Athletico and Emelec. Fortunately, we managed to advance in the Libertadores. The Brazilian Championship is incredibly difficult, and it's rewarding to compete and lead. The coach demands a lot, and what we're reaping is the result of our work," he says.
Rafinha also highlighted the good moment experienced by Mais Querido and commented on the performance of coach Jorge Jesus in charge of the team.
"We're playing well. It's the result of our work, the result of our coach's work, who really surprised me. I already knew him, but not that closely. He makes everything easier for us. He makes our team more relaxed on the field, with great intensity. That's the result," he concluded.
