Flamengo's midfield is undoubtedly the most diverse in the group. Among them, a young player, just 21 years old, already possessing a wealth of experience. Ramón, a product of Atlético Mineiro and a former Corinthians player, is currently linked to CSKA Moscow and will remain in Gávea until at least mid-year. After arriving at the club a little overweight, the midfielder is already physically prepared to perform at his best, and to achieve this, he simply hopes for a series of opportunities.

Next Sunday, Ramón has a good chance of starting. The match against Friburguense, therefore, could be the number 28's first as a starter. In his six appearances for Flamengo, he came off the bench and performed very well. He has already provided two assists and hopes to maintain his strong average throughout the season.

"It's a golden opportunity. I've been out for a year, but every time I've come on, I've done well, providing assists for goals, so I hope to repeat that on Sunday. I'll do my best to convince Coach Andrade that I can be used," he said.

One issue that delayed Ramón's debut for Flamengo was his physical condition. However, after nearly two months of intense sweat, the player says he's ready to play 90 minutes at Moça Bonita. He's already dreaming of a contract extension.

"I'm fine. I've been training hard since the beginning of the year, and now I want to prove on the field that the investment made in me can give a good return for the club. I hope to do well and get CSKA to release me by the end of the year, because I'm very happy here," he noted.
