The change occurred due to construction work at the club's training center in Vargem Grande.

Due to a request from the vice-president of assets of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, Alexandre Wrobel, the return of the professional squad was moved to the club's social headquarters, in the Football Department, in Gávea, on Monday (03.01), at 9 am.
The request, granted by coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo, aims to avoid interrupting the works at the Training Center, which will only be used upon the return of pre-season training, to be held in Londrina.
The change of location will also facilitate the logistics of the trip to the city in Paraná, which will take place on the same day, in the evening, after a full-day training session.
The renovation of the training center's grass fields is already complete, and the remaining works are underway according to the established schedule.
