Rio de Janeiro - After homegrown player Juan, now a defender for Roma, it was now the turn of former Flamengo midfielder Felipe to join the club's new weight training and rehabilitation room. The facility, which was quickly nicknamed "Reffis rubro-negro," is being used by the player who came through the ranks at rival Vasco da Gama, working with fitness coach Daniel Jouvin.

Juan expresses his surprise at the place's progress, taking the opportunity to praise it.

"It's changed a lot, I was a bit impressed when I entered the weight room. Everything is new and expanded. It's good for Rio de Janeiro, which doesn't have a player rehabilitation center. It could make Flamengo a benchmark in this area," the defender opines.
