Goalkeeper Paulo Victor highlights Renato Abreu's relaxed attitude as another point in the player's favor in the group

On the field, Renato Abreu's quality is undeniable. But for Flamengo, the signing of the number 11 has even more positive aspects. One of them is the midfielder's good humor. The players who were on the roster during Renato's first stint at Gávea know all too well what they'll go through alongside the midfielder.
"Right when I got promoted to the professional team, he would bother me (laughs). He's always the last one to leave the locker room. When I was still there and saw him coming in, I thought: 'I can't believe this guy is coming here' (laughs). Now I'm the one who's picking on him. The other day he didn't have a seat in the locker room and I joked that he was going to have to stay on the floor, since now he was arriving and I was going to be the one in charge (laughs). But this is all very healthy," recalled goalkeeper Paulo Victor.
One of the most playful players in the group, defender David will have a new partner when it comes to mocking his teammates. For Paulo Victor, the duo will be difficult to deal with.
"My God, when David and Renato get together, it's going to get complicated. You have to have three fathers and three mothers to put up with this duo," he said.
Jokes aside, Paulo praised Renato Abreu's personality and determination and bet on his supporter's success in the competition.
"Renato is an extraordinary person. On the field, he's very determined, he connects well with the attack, and he's already close to many here at Flamengo. He's a player who's already made history at the club and I'm sure he'll help us a lot. But, beyond that, he's very playful and fits in well with the group," added the Flamengo goalkeeper.
