Former Flamengo player Renato Abreu, who became a fan favorite during his time at Gávea, visited the club this morning. The supporter was greeted with a huge celebration by his former teammates and ended up receiving the traditional "ovada" (egg-throwing), as he turned 30 last Monday.

-“I really miss Flamengo, that's why I came here to see the players and people at the Club who have always treated me well."

With a contract until July with Al-Nasr, from the United Arab Emirates, Renato Abreu does not rule out a return to the Gávea team.

"My renewal at the Emirates isn't certain. I had a good season, opening doors there, but my contract runs until July and I haven't agreed anything to stay yet. I'm open to negotiations. The Flamengo fans can dream of my return because I don't have anything concrete there. I've been dreaming from afar about returning one day to play at the Maracanã, but nothing is certain. I'll stay in Brazil for a few days and wait to see what happens." Photo: globoesporte.com
