Renato Augusto believes in recovery

Midfielder says the bad times will pass and bets on Flamengo's home games

Midfielder Renato Augusto pointed to Flamengo's lack of luck in the paint and the fact that they played many consecutive games away from Maracanã as the main reasons for the club's poor form in the Brazilian Championship. This Saturday's homecoming against Náutico will have to be the beginning of the team's comeback in the competition.

"We shot more shots than Santos and Atlético-PR in our last two defeats. They shot and the ball went in. We did the same and didn't score. When things aren't going well, things don't happen. But starting Saturday, when we play at Maracanã again, I'm sure things will change."

The player, who considers the game against Náutico a final, said he was unaware of the alleged proposal from Palermo, from Italy, and said he was 100% focused on the fight to get the team out of the relegation zone of the Brazilian Championship.

"I heard about it through the press, but I don't even want to think about it. I'm focused on the match against Náutico and, after that, the others we still have. We're going to play a lot of games at Maracanã and the time has come for the team and the fans to play together again."
