In collective training this Tuesday afternoon (16/10), coach Joel Santana practically confirmed the starting team that will face Vasco, Thursday (18/10), at 21:45 pm, at Maracanã.

In the activity won by the starters 3-1, with goals from Juan, Souza and Thiago Salles for the starters, and Egídio for the reserves, the starting team that started the training was Bruno; Léo Moura, Ronaldo Angelim, Rodrigo Arroz and Juan; Rômulo, Cristian, Ibson and Toró; Maxi and Souza.

Training with the reserve team, Renato Augusto was one of the standouts, with his excellent movement and beautiful plays. Joel then tested the midfielder in the starting lineup and liked what he saw.

"I really enjoyed the training session. Especially Renato Augusto, who impressed me. My only question for the game is whether he'll start or start on the bench. I'll only announce that before the game. The rest of the team is confirmed," said Joel, who didn't confirm the possibility of Renato Augusto replacing Toró.

The red-black coach did not spare praise for the young athlete, and expects the same performance from the supporter in the collective, in the game on Thursday (18/10).

The player couldn't hide his happiness at the coach's praise. Renato promised to be very energetic for the match against Vasco.

Players Paulo Sérgio, Roger and Léo Medeiros did not participate in the collective and worked separately from the rest of the group.
