Since his promotion to Flamengo's first team, Renato Augusto has played in various positions for the club. Now, under coach Caio Júnior, he hopes to establish himself in his original position, midfield.

"I told Caio Júnior, as mayor, to play. If I played three months in my position, that was a lot. I still haven't been able to develop in my position since I moved up to the professional team two years ago. I've played this role before, connecting the midfield with the attack. Then I played other positions, gained experience, but I think after two years as a professional, the time has come to establish myself where I like to play. I've been playing as a striker for six months. I'll need some time to readjust, but I hope to perform well in my real position."

At just 20 years old, Renato Augusto is hoping for a chance to join the Brazilian Olympic Team, which will compete in the games in China.

- "I think it's difficult to be remembered for the Olympics, especially since I haven't played much this year. But I hope to be able to help Brazil in China."
