Supporter hopes to play classic against Botafogo next Sunday

After 15 days out due to a knee injury, midfielder Renato Augusto arrived at Gávea on Wednesday morning for a light training session. He remains doubtful for Sunday's match against Botafogo in the second leg of the Campeonato Carioca final.

"I trained today, but I'll wait until Friday to better analyze my condition. I was out of action, and now I have to train and stay calm," he told Rádio Brasil.

Renato Augusto also spoke about his desire to participate in Sunday's classic against Botafogo.

"I'm still in pain, but my desire to play is greater than all of that. Maybe that will help me. I really want to be on the field and play in that final," he concluded.
