One of the biggest revelations from Flamengo's youth academy in recent years, midfielder Renato Augusto, now at Bayer Leverskusen, reminisced about the good old days on Monday afternoon (17.05/2010). He went to Ninho do Urubu, the club's training center, to continue treatment for a hamstring injury in his left thigh, and took the opportunity to see his friends on the eve of the decisive match against Universidad de Chile in the quarterfinals of the XNUMX Copa Libertadores.

Renato donned his former club's training uniform and completed a session at the training center's gym, supervised by fitness coach Daniel Jouvin. On vacation from German football, the player is expected to stay in Rio de Janeiro for a few more days, aiming to improve his physical condition to return to full fitness for Bayer after the World Cup.

This isn't the first time the midfielder has returned to the Marvelous City to treat an injury. Late last year, he underwent surgery on his left knee and spent nearly a month in Brazil recovering.
