This morning's training session at Gávea featured a distinguished visitor. Supporter Renato Augusto, recently transferred to Bayer Leverkusen (GER), came to the club to see his old teammates. Even in Germany, the player stated that he has been following Flamengo's performance in this Brazilian Championship.

"I've been following Flamengo from afar, and I feel like they're back on track now. We need to take advantage of this moment to close in on the leaders. The Brasileirão title is still possible."

Renato Augusto said that adapting to the new country is being easier than he expected, as his team's style of play is very similar to that of Brazilian teams.

"Adapting is easy there, it's still hot, and my team plays more like a Brazilian team, going forward. I didn't expect to do so well in such a short time. I was already praised there in Germany; I scored a goal in the very first game. The forwards there help better in the marking, the pace is faster. They fooled me by saying we didn't train much there. I arrived and trained a lot," said the player.

Raised in the youth ranks of Flamengo, Renato Augusto stated that he hopes to return to defend the red-black team in the future.

-"One day I'll come back, for sure. But I can't even think about that right now. I'll be cheering for Flamengo from afar."
