After suffering a serious injury, midfielder Renato Augusto had his first training session this Tuesday afternoon (12/01), in Gávea. The player participated in a physical activity at the Club's gym, and spoke a little about his expectations for returning to the field.

- "It's great to be back at the Club. The doctors gave me five to six weeks to get back to work, but I've already returned to training after three weeks. I'm feeling great. I hope to recover as quickly as possible to get back to playing."

During these three weeks, Renato Augusto suffered a lot, but the support he received was essential for him to return to work with joy.

- "I received a lot of affection from all the fans. This support was very important during this difficult time that I went through. I spent almost ten days without opening my eyes, and I still have difficulty moving my mouth."

Flamengo's number 10 in the Libertadores said it will be difficult to watch the team's debut on television.

- "I'd love to be on the field helping Flamengo, but since I can't, I'll be cheering on TV. I'll watch the game at home with my family and friends. We gained experience last year, and I believe Flamengo will have a great campaign this year."

Defender Leonardo completed his first training session at Gávea today. Like Renato Augusto, he also worked out at the gym.
