In a press conference after training this morning, the midfielder assured the press that Flamengo is coming strong for Sunday's classic and that the team is focused on getting their second victory in the Brasileirão.

- Sunday's classic is one of the most important in the Brazilian championship and I'm very comfortable with the new scheme adopted by the coach, said the midfielder.

As for the tactical scheme, Renato has nothing but praise.

"In this 3-5-2, I play further forward, providing more assists. Against Goiás, I had seven seconds to pass to Juan, which is great for my game, but I'll never disrespect my opponent," Renato concludes.

Sunday's classic will be the fourth match of the year between the teams. In the first three, neither team managed to emerge victorious. Renato is aware of the difficulties and said the team will have to play a great game if they want to win.
