A "Clássico dos Milhões" (Classic of Millions) is always a different game. That's why the anticipation among Flamengo fans for next Sunday's match against Vasco is already high. Even with a whole week of training ahead, the players are already focused on the duel with their rival at the Engenhão stadium.

This is the case with midfielder Renato, one of the players most identified with the Flamengo fans in the current squad. A champion of the Copa do Brasil in 2006, in a thrilling final against their rivals, he knows well what a victory in a derby against Vasco means.

"We know it's going to be a great game, Vasco is always a tough opponent, a derby is always unpredictable, and we know it's going to be a great game. We're coming off positive results, but we can't celebrate too much. We have to be cautious to continue like this," he said.

The number 11 player points to the next few days of hard work at Ninho do Urubu as fundamental for the team to achieve a positive result on Sunday.

"It's another busy week, with time to train, and we have to work hard and seriously to try and get more wins and a spot in the Copa Sudamericana, which is our goal," he concluded.
