While Flamengo will play its ninth game at the João Havelange Olympic Stadium, midfielder Renato, one of the club's main signings for the season, will make his debut at the Engenhão this Sunday (September 19.09th). "It's good to have the historical record in our favor. It will be my debut at Engenhão. I've never played there, but I've seen it on TV, it's a beautiful stadium and I hope we can continue these winning streaks and come away with another victory," he stated.
Renato believes that, as the traditional football cliché goes, "a derby is a derby and vice versa." According to him, there are no favorites in a duel like this against Fluminense.
