Renato sees the team motivated for the end of the season

Supporter believes that Flamengo will achieve great results in the next rounds

The year 2010 didn't go as well as Flamengo's team and fans had hoped. The Red-Blacks ultimately failed to win any titles that season and enter the Brasileirão fighting for a spot in the Copa Sudamericana. But this doesn't discourage the Red-Blacks. Quite the opposite. It motivates them to make up for it in 2011.

Supporter Renato, for example, who arrived in Gávea in the middle of the year, hopes to continue his work so that, next season, he can fight for the titles of the Campeonato Carioca, Copa do Brasil, Campeonato Brasileiro and Copa Sul-Americana.

"The balance of the season since I arrived at Flamengo is that the team could even be better, because they have the shirt to do so, but it's a competitive championship. Everyone has quality, from the first to the last. We're improving in this final stretch with Vanderlei, with three draws and two wins in five games. It's not ideal, but we'll try to improve even more in 2011," he said.

Renato explained that the team managed to improve at the necessary moment in the competition and is on the right track to secure its spot in the South American. For him, the victory over Inter proved the strength of the group.

"The anxiety is over. We managed to win, the goals came, against Internacional we played well, we showed our strength and the derby has no favorites, that's why we drew with Corinthians and Vasco," he concluded.
