“We know we need a strong squad to win titles. We're showing that this year with the inclusion of several players from the youth academy, maintaining a strong rhythm and a similar playing style regardless of who plays. This is the work of (Maurício) Barbieri taking effect and yielding results. I hope we can continue like this to win many titles,” said the player.

Renê also commented on the project developed by coach Maurício Babieri, which has been the subject of praise and significant changes in all sectors of Flamengo. “Maurício's work has been excellent. He managed to make us understand everything he wanted from the team. He improved our positioning, made the team more compact so we could recover the ball and score goals. This is very important. He's always talking to us to try and fix things, both as a group and individually,” he stated.

"Anyone who dreamed of being a player always dreamed of this: being in a packed stadium with the fans supporting us, especially Flamengo's fans. We know they are the biggest in the world and they have been helping us a lot in recent matches. We really felt their absence in the Conmebol Libertadores; we saw how difficult it was to win the games without them. The fans help us to be stronger. I hope they can help us and give us strength, so that in the end everything can work out," the full-back added.
