Reserves apply thrashing in training match
The starters did physical exercises in the Club's pool.
By Flamengo Archive - inAfter beating Internacional on Saturday at Maracanã and taking second place in the Brazilian Championship, Flamengo's squad returned to work this Monday afternoon at Gávea.
With the exception of Jailton, the players who started the match against Inter did recovery exercises in the club's pool. Kleberson and Ibson, who are recovering from thigh pain, received treatment in the gym. Dininho and Erick Flores ran laps around the field.
The remaining players participated in a training match against Artsul. Flamengo took to the field with Diego, Luizinho, Leonardo (Thiago Sales), Rodrigo Arroz, and Egidio; Gavilán, Jailton, Jônatas (Rômulo), and Renato Augusto; Maxi (Éder), and Obina. The team performed well, winning 6-0, with goals from Renato Augusto (2), Obina (2), Éder, and Maxi.
Coach Caio Júnior praised the team's behavior during the activity.
- "The training match will give me a real headache. All the players did very well. Playing in his favorite position, Renato Augusto moved very well and performed well. This type of training is good for observing all the players."
