After a strenuous morning training session, the Flamengo squad returned to training in the afternoon at the Ninho do Urubu Training Center in Vargem Grande. The coaching staff is preparing the Flamengo team for Sunday's Fla-Flu match at the Maracanã stadium.

While the starting players worked on their fitness, the rest of the squad participated in a training match against Esportistas de Deus, a team made up of evangelical players who are currently inactive. The session lasted about 70 minutes and ended with a 5-0 victory for the red-and-black team, with goals from Petkovic, Everton, Aleílson, Everton Silva, and Alex Cruz.
