By Flamengo Archive - inAfter last night's 2-2 draw at Maracanã, Flamengo's squad returned to training this Monday afternoon at Gávea Stadium. The team begins preparations for Wednesday's match against Figueirense in Florianópolis, a match valid for the 24th round of the Brazilian Championship.
During training, only the reserve players took to the field. Flamengo played a practice match against Rubro, from Araruama, which leads the third division of the Campeonato Carioca. Flamengo won 6-0, with goals from Sambueza (2), Maxi, Vandinho, Fernando, and Fernandão. The standout players were Argentinians Maxi and Sambueza, who tormented the Rubro defense.
Flamengo entered the field with: Diego (Marcelo Lomba); Luizinho, Leonardo, Thiago Sales and Eltinho; Airton (Jônatas), Cristian, Ibson (Erick Flores) and Sambueza (Fernando); Maxi (Vandinho) and Josiel (Fernandão).
