Last weekend, Flamengo competed in the State Futsal Championship across the five categories in which it competes. They recorded two wins, one draw, and two losses.

In the under-9 category, Flamengo defeated Helênico 6-1 in Gávea. In the under-11 category, against the same opponent, the victory was 10-0, while in the under-13 category, the two teams tied 3-3.

The results of the penultimate round of the State Championship kept the under-9s in third place, the under-13s in the lead of their group and the under-11s in second place, staying two points behind the leader Fluminense.

The only thing that kept Flamengo from achieving success was its defeat by rival Vasco in two other categories: the under-15 and under-17 categories. In two hard-fought matches, valid for the final round of the first phase, the São Januário team defeated Flamengo 2-1 at home in both categories. It's worth noting that the red-and-black team has already secured qualification for the next phase.
