After resting on Sunday (November 21.11st) and Monday (November 22.11nd), the Flamengo team returns to training this Tuesday (November 23.11rd) at Ninho do Urubu, the club's training center in Vargem Grande. Another important week of training begins today for coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo's team, which faces Cruzeiro on Sunday (November 28.11th) in Volta Redonda, in the penultimate round of the 2010 Brazilian Championship.
Coming off an important victory against Guarani last Saturday (November 2011th), the Flamengo squad knows they need to keep working and showing their will to win in order to achieve another good result and continue fighting for a spot in the 20.11 Copa Sudamericana.
"It had to be with that spirit, it was an important victory and now we have to maintain it. We have a quality team and we know we can escape this situation. It only depends on us," said left-back Juan.
Forward Diogo emphasizes that he has never lacked hard work and, in this crucial week, it will be even more important to give his all to achieve a great result against Cruzeiro.
"Those who follow the team know the dedication and hard work of this group. The squad has quality and I'm happy to be able to help whenever possible. Now it's another week of daily work so we can try to get three more points on Sunday," he added.
