Regarding the matchup, the defender praised the Gaucho team and emphasized that, regardless of the players who will represent the opponent in Wednesday's match (08), they must be fully focused. "If Grêmio comes with their reserve team, it doesn't matter to us, especially because for an athlete to reach Grêmio, you need to be very talented. Nobody gets to Grêmio by chance. We need to be focused regardless of whether it's Grêmio's A or B team," said Réver, who emphasized the importance of the match because it's a very important opponent in Brazilian football. "We know they're a team with tradition, so it's a game that could be more difficult than the ones we've faced. We'll try to do our best so we can come away with the victory," he concluded.

Another topic discussed was striker Éverton's renewal, extending his contract with the Mais Querido until 2019. Réver was emphatic when speaking about Éverton's value to the group: "He's a fundamental player," said the number 15. "He's a player who contributes a lot, who has a knack for getting forward and scoring. He has a very strong explosiveness. We're happy with this renewal. Éverton has helped us a lot and I'm sure he'll help us even more," he added.
