The Mais Querido's training session this Friday (09) was held on the synthetic grass field of CFZ, the club of the red-black idol, the eternal number 10 Zico. After the activities, defender Réver gave a press conference in the auditorium. The team captain spoke about the match against Atlético-PR, in addition to commenting on the attempt to adapt to the different type of terrain and about the importance of the last challenge of this edition of the Brazilian Championship.

Attempt to adapt to synthetic turf
I believe it's quite different from what we train during the week, especially since we're using a regular grass field. However, I don't think this will hinder us from going out there and playing great football and achieving victory, which is our biggest goal right now.
Early vacation for suspended employees
Some teams ended up releasing some players, perhaps because they no longer had competitive objectives, but we do. We're held accountable daily for this. Regardless of the amount, everyone is here for Flamengo. We're going to win. That's our goal. Diego could have talked to Zé and asked to go on vacation, but that's not happening here. This shows the depth of his character and the great importance he has for the group. I don't know if he'll travel with us, but if he does go to Curitiba, he'll be very welcome.
Full house against Atlético-PR
This is an extra motivation. Playing away from home, against a great team, the importance of the game for both Flamengo and Atlético. I hope we can put on a show for the fans who will be there.
Search for second place
Flamengo was so close to the title that nothing would be fairer than for us to stay as close to the top of the table as possible. Of course, it wasn't the result we expected, as we wanted the title, but that's our goal right now.
Winless period at Arena da Baixada
Flamengo has broken many odds this year, and this is just one more we have ahead of us. It will be a tough match, we know that, but we also know our capabilities. We'll go to Arena da Baixada looking for the three points to secure second place.
