With their focus once again on the Conmebol Sudamericana, Flamengo resumed training this Monday morning at Ninho do Urubu. Following the recovery session, captain Réver gave a press conference in the Victorino Chermont Press Room, where he analyzed last night's 2-1 defeat against Santos.

The defender conveyed the team's support to goalkeeper Alex Muralha when speaking about the number 38's performance on Sunday. "Actually, this isn't just the role of the team captain. We have several leaders within the squad. We try to talk as much as possible to instill confidence in these players who are experiencing a moment of insecurity, where confidence is low. We have this conversation not only in the locker room, but every day," he commented. "We have to try to leave all this behind, because on Thursday we have a very difficult game in our quest for the Copa Sudamericana final. It becomes another game of our lives to achieve these goals, which are the Copa Sudamericana title and a place in the Libertadores," the captain concluded.

Against Santos, Flamengo's creative power was evident throughout the match. However, their efficiency in front of goal wasn't high enough to capitalize on the opportunities presented. Réver is asking for composure when shooting at goal, not only against Junior Barranquilla, but throughout this crucial final stretch of the season.

"The biggest difficulty is this anxiety to anticipate the plays. Regardless of the moment, instead of controlling the ball, we already want to run with it. We have to control this anxiety so that it doesn't hinder our performance and doesn't happen like yesterday, when we had twenty chances and scored one goal, while the opponent had three and scored two," concluded the number 15.

After training this Tuesday (28), the Flamengo delegation will travel to Colombia, where the decisive match will take place on Thursday (30). The match that will decide the place in the final of the Conmebol Sudamericana will be played at the Metropolitano stadium in Barranquilla, with the ball rolling from 22:30 pm.
