Great news on the return of the red-black squad to work at Ninho do Urubu. On the afternoon of this Monday (19), captain Réver participated in the tactical training held at Field 4. The defender played throughout the activity, recovered from bone edema in his right ankle.
Led by fitness coach Roberto Oliveira at Flamengo's Performance Excellence Center (CEP FLA), the players who started in the 4-0 victory over Portuguesa completed recovery training. Meanwhile, the rest of the group headed to the pitch at Field 5 for a warm-up session.
Divided into five stations, the activity involved strength, agility, and coordination exercises. Weight training was followed by running in designated areas, power training, traction training, and dodging stakes driven into the grass—all at high intensity.
Next, the group headed to Field 4, where the goalkeepers were participating in a specific training session led by coaches Rogério Maia and José Jober. Later, the goalkeepers joined the tactical training, where Carpegiani provided guidance, particularly regarding positioning.
The classic against Fluminense will be played this Thursday (22), with the ball rolling from 20 pm on a stage yet to be defined.
