Concluding their participation in the Conmebol Libertadores group stage, Flamengo visited River Plate on Wednesday night (23) and drew 0-0 at the Monumental de Núñez. After the match, defender Rhodolfo spoke about the duel against the Argentinians.

"I think we were way below par in the first half. We fell into their game, we ran the wrong way. Then, we managed to get it right, we had chances. Our defense was very good at marking. They have a very fast team, but we were very focused and managed to keep a clean sheet once again," said the defender.

Also after the game, Vinicius Junior analyzed the goalless draw and already looked ahead to the next phase of the international competition.

- We knew it would be a very difficult game. We came and played on equal terms. But we lacked finishing. Now, we're going to focus on the next phase and celebrate this qualification.
