Playing at home, Flamengo's adult team faced Canto do Rio last Friday (29/8) and won the match 5-1, in a game with many fouls and cards.

With goals from Dudu, Panazio, and Sixel, Flamengo managed to impose its rhythm, conceding only a single goal late in the match, a penalty kick. Flamengo won't play this week and continues training for the derby on the 11th, against Vasco da Gama, at São Januário.

The Flamengo girls played on Saturday (August 30th) against the Casa de España team and drew 8-4. The draw felt like a victory, as the Gávea team, which had led 4-2 in the first half, allowed the Casa de España to equalize and come back late in the first half. However, the Flamengo team, playing better in the second half, managed to equalize. The next duel is against the strong River team, at a location and date to be confirmed by the Futsal Federation.

The CRF youth team debuts next weekend, but won't play at Gávea, despite having home field advantage. Due to a clash between fans in the second leg of the Campeonato Carioca final, played in the first half of the year, Flamengo was penalized with a five-game home loss. Therefore, the home match against Portuguesa has not yet been scheduled.
