Flamengo is starting another week of training at Ninho do Urubu and remains confident of winning the Brazilian Championship. Before Tuesday's training session, full-back Rodinei gave a press conference at Ninho do Urubu and discussed the final stretch of the national competition.
"It's a complicated situation, but we can't look back and dwell on the points we lost. In six rounds, anything can happen. We can't afford not to do our part. The Brazilian Championship has had several twists and turns. We'll keep believing until the end."
The number 2 also spoke about the chances the team is managing to create in Brasileirão matches.
"Everything we do in training, we carry into the game. There's a lot of tension in these decisive balls. We've been training and working hard. If they get the chance, they'll take advantage of it to help us stay in the fight."
Rodinei commented on the importance of balance within the team to be able to return to winning ways in the game against Botafogo.
"We come to training and the coach practices several things with us. We can't just practice finishing. There's no point in scoring four goals and conceding six. We have to work up front and down. We have to work to win."
