On Sunday afternoon (6), Flamengo beat Internacional 2-0 and left Maracanã with three more points. After the match, full-back Rodinei spoke to the press in the mixed zone and praised the work of Mais Querido, in addition to commenting on the fifth consecutive match without conceding goals.

"It shows the work is being done well. On that occasion (when he attempted a beautiful shot that was blocked by the opposing goalkeeper), I couldn't get a strong shot on the ball, and Danilo (Fernandes) saved it. It's all about moving forward. It was another good match, and the group deserves congratulations for being very consistent. That's what Maurício (Barbieri) is asking for. Now it's time to rest, because we have a very important Copa do Brasil match on Thursday," Rodinei analyzed.

"We know the pressure of playing for Flamengo. When results don't come, it increases. Victories alleviate that. We know we're focused, that we need to work. Now it's time to stay grounded and achieve great things this year," said the full-back.

Flamengo has now gone five games without conceding a goal, an important milestone for the red-and-black defense. "It's important for us to grow and gain more confidence. We've managed to improve. It's our team's consistency, and we're focusing on our marking," he added.

The Mais Querido returns to the field next Thursday (10), at 19:30 pm, when it faces Ponte Preta in the second leg of the Copa do Brasil. Tickets are already on sale at: flamengo.com.br/tickets
