Mengão won! It was through grit, through heart! Flamengo came from behind to beat Athletico-PR 3-2 this Sunday at Maracanã and climbed the Brazilian Championship table. They now have 10 points from six games. The winning goal was scored by Rodrigo Caio, with a header in stoppage time. 

First time

In the first half, Flamengo created several scoring opportunities and went into the break leading 1-0. Flamengo's goal was scored by Gabigol, from the penalty spot, in the 31st minute. In fact, it was he himself who suffered when he was brought down by goalkeeper Santos.

Second time

Flamengo started the second half playing on the counterattack, but were eventually caught out by their opponents. Marcelo Cirino equalized for the Paraná team and then turned the game around with a penalty. Flamengo then had to push hard to leave Maracanã with a positive result. And the Red-Blacks did. It worked. In the 44th minute, Bruno Henrique equalized with a header. The comeback came in stoppage time with Rodrigo Caio, also with a header: 3-2.
