Flamengo coach Rogério Lourenço gave his approval to the signings of Renato Abreu and Leandro Amaral. In an exclusive interview with the club's official website on Wednesday (04.08), the Flamengo manager praised the midfielder and center forward and said he expects to have a hard time selecting the team when they are fit to play.

"They are two very high-quality players who will be great for Flamengo. I'm sure they can succeed here. Now I hope to have that so-called good headache to form a strong team. A big club like Flamengo always wants the best players available on the market," he said.

Leandro Amaral, 33 years old, presented last Tuesday (03.08), received praise from physical trainer Toninho Oliveira for his form and, according to Rogério, has everything to succeed at Fla.

"Leandro has had a successful career, he's done well at every club he's played for, and now he's also had a major breakthrough in his life. I believe in his recovery, and he's a player who can help us a lot," he said.

Renato Abreu, 32, is a player already identified with the club and could become an important piece for the red-black midfield.

"Renato is loved by the fans and his teammates. He's already worked here and done very well, so he knows where he's going. He's used to Flamengo and can also be useful to the team," Rogério added.
