During halftime, coach Rogério Lourenço decided to change Flamengo's attacking duo for Sunday's match (August 22.08) at Arena da Baixada against Atlético Paranaense. The coach took off Leandro Amaral and Val Baiano to bring on Vinícius Pacheco and Cristian Borja. Despite this, he believes neither forward can be blamed for the team having scored only two goals in the last six games.
