Rogério explains training with Rômulo and Jean
Coach believes players will be able to complete the defensive system well in place of Welinton and Kleberson

Flamengo is set to face Internacional on Sunday (25.07) at Beira-Rio. And the news from Rogério Lourenço, as he presented in the collective this Friday (23.07), at Gávea, is about defender Jean and midfielder Rômulo, who will replace Welinton and Kleberson, suspended, in the duel with Colorado.
In a press conference after training, the coach explained his choices and gave a brief analysis of how each of the new starters could help the team.
"It's obvious he's already been working hard, and it was only a matter of time before he could take advantage of him. Welinton got his third yellow card, David wasn't registered, and this is a good time for him to come in. Jean has good leadership skills and is training well. Yesterday we played 85 minutes of training, and he held up very well. Rômulo rotates between the defenders. He could be a possible third or play in front of the defense," he noted.
Also expected to be on the travel list is young Marquinhos, who was one of the highlights of the 4-0 victory over Artsul in a training match played on Thursday (22.07).
"Marquinhos is versatile; he can play as a winger or as a midfielder. We'll use everyone who's coming, if we need them. The idea is to use them," said the coach, who hopes to have the best Flamengo team he can at his disposal to face the strong Internacional team.
"Inter is always strong. They suddenly have the best squad in Brazil. Among the three, I have no doubt. They're a team that started the Brazilian Championship well, with three wins. Obviously, they're focused on the Libertadores, but it's always difficult there. Flamengo has been playing well away from home, and I hope to maintain that there. It's a very balanced championship," Rogério added.
Flamengo departs for Porto Alegre this Friday night. The team leaves Rio de Janeiro at 22:28 PM and is scheduled to arrive in the capital of Rio Grande do Sul at 00:40 AM.
