Flamengo fans will only know which team will play in the first round of the 2010 Brazilian Championship after training this Saturday at Ninho do Urubu. Coach Rogério Lourenço said he hasn't yet decided whether or not he will rest some starters for the match against São Paulo on Sunday at Maracanã, but the tendency is for only those who are 100% fit to play.

The coach decided not to use Leonardo Moura, Vagner Love, Willians and Maldonado in this Friday's tactical training session, but he will still talk to the players and the coaching staff before defining the starting eleven for Sunday's game.

"It's not decided yet. I rested some players today and decided to leave that decision until tomorrow's training session. I have the utmost respect for São Paulo, and we'll field whoever is fit. Our team is in good physical condition, but some players, like Love, for example, are getting very tired, and everything will be reevaluated before we release the list," he said.

Aware that the first match in the Brazilian Championship is as important as any other, Rogério is banking on the strength of the squad to leave Maracanã with the three points.

"We have a strong, homogeneous group, and that's how we do well in the Brazilian Championship. We have quality full-backs, a great goalkeeper, two great strikers, and we're looking for greater defensive consistency. Whether on Sunday or in other games, whoever takes the field has to be 100%," the coach added.

The red-black team will have its last training session before the game against São Paulo this Saturday, at 15:30 pm, at Ninho do Urubu.
