Coach Rogério Lourenço started Tuesday (July 06.07) with some new developments at the Spa Sports Resort in Itu. The red-and-black coach led a tactical activity and made some changes to the starting lineup, compared to the team that faced Desportivo Brasil in last Sunday's training match, which ended in a 1-1 draw. Willians, with a swollen eye, was rested and made way for the newly signed Corrêa. In attack, Diego Maurício replaced Paulo Sérgio.
Thus, the team was lined up with Marcelo Lomba, Leonardo Moura, David, Ronaldo Angelim, and Juan; Antônio, Correa, Camacho, and Petkovic; Diego Maurício and Vinícius Pacheco. The reserves trained with Paulo Victor, Welinton, Jean, and Fabrício; Rafael Galhardo, Rômulo, Lenon, Léo Medeiros, Fernando, and Rodrigo Alvim; and Paulo Sérgio. The training was halted at various points by the coach, who in certain situations focused heavily on attacking versus defending.
Maldonado, Michael, and Willians worked out in the gym. Val Baiano, who had been released to deal with personal issues over the weekend, returned to training this morning.
