Rômulo scored one of the four goals in the match against San Lorenzo and celebrated, praising the red-and-black team. "I think I did well. The team showed a winning spirit, we managed to play a good game and gift this wonderful crowd with the victory," he said.

"We talked at halftime and came back with the intention of suffocating and putting a lot of pressure on their team, especially in attack. We managed to score at the beginning of the second half and that made a difference in the game," the player added.

The night marked two debuts. While Flamengo was taking its first steps in the Conmebol Libertadores Bridgestone, Rômulo was doing the same at Maracanã. "It was exciting to score. My first experience here at Maracanã, and thank God I managed to score one in this debut. It's different, a different atmosphere, the game has a Libertadores feel. This support from the fans makes a huge difference on the field," he highlighted.

The Mais Querido's next commitment will be against Portuguesa, at the Raulino de Oliveira stadium, in Volta Redonda, at 18:30 pm next Saturday (11).
