Romulo and Jean get bus seats

Players are likely to replace Kleberson and Welinton in the match against Inter

The predictions seem to have been confirmed and coach Rogério Lourenço, in a collective training session held on the afternoon of this Friday (23.07), gave indications that he should indeed opt for a midfield with more grip in Sunday's match (25.07) against Internacional.

During the training session, the red-and-black coach opted to field Rômulo in place of the suspended Kleberson. In defense, with Welinton out, it appears Jean, the first reinforcement signed for the second half of the year, will make his debut. Another new addition was Maldonado's presence in the training session. The midfielder is in the final stages of his knee recovery and has already returned to training normally with his teammates.

The red-and-black team trained with Marcelo Lomba, Leonardo Moura, Jean, Ronaldo Angelim, and Juan; Correa, Willians, Romulo, and Petkovic; Vinícius Pacheco and Diego Maurício. The reserves were Paulo Victor, Éverton Silva, David, Fabrício, and Rodrigo Alvim; Maldonado, Lenon, Camacho, and Marquinhos; Val Baiano and Cristian Borja.

In the final part of the training session, Rogério Lourenço took off Diego Maurício and Vinícius Pacheco and put Marquinhos and Val Baiano up front. The two were released by physical preparation and must travel with the group to Porto Alegre, where Rubro-Negro will face Inter.
