Back on Field 4, Flamengo coach Zé Ricardo led the group during ball practice. The focus was on maintaining possession, exchanging passes from midfield. The plays continued to the baseline, resulting in crosses for the forwards in the penalty area to finish.
Rômulo worked separately from the rest of the group. Coordinated by physiologist Felipe Olive, the newest addition to the 2017 season underwent a stamina assessment using the yo-yo test, which consists of back-and-forth runs with gradual increases in speed on a pre-defined section of the pitch. Following this, the midfielder completed a recovery run on Field 3 and concluded the activities with specific physical training at the CEP FLA.
