On a day of returns at Ninho do Urubu, with the return of midfielder Rômulo to training along with the rest of the squad, Mais Querido continued its preparation for the Carioca Championship final. With an eye on Fla-Flu, which will take place this Sunday (07), at Maracanã, the red-black coach Zé Ricardo guided the group in technical and tactical activities on Field 4.

Before starting work with the ball, the athletes performed pre-training exercises at the Flamengo Performance Excellence Center (CEP FLA), coordinated by EXOS consultant Michael Minthorne. The team that started the match against Universidad Católica last Wednesday (03), which ended in a 3-1 victory for Flamengo, continued with regenerative activities.

After warming up on the pitch, it was time for technical training focused on passing accuracy. Following that, the work shifted to tactics, with attack versus defense drills and plenty of instructions from the coach regarding positioning. Finally, some of the players practiced penalty kicks.

On Sunday, Flamengo will be looking for their first title of 2017. At 16 PM, the ball will roll at the Maracanã for the classic match against Fluminense.
