Ivan Cosenza Souza, son of the cartoonist Henfil, who follows in his father's footsteps (he passed away in 1988), decided to update the character created in the late 60s: the Vulture.

And there was no better time than the arrival of star player Ronaldinho Gaúcho for the image to be redesigned. Inspired by the star, the new cartoon was created as soon as the player's signing was confirmed.

"As soon as Ronaldinho's signing was announced, I decided to pay homage to the club. My father's cartoons made this update possible. He drew the vulture as a symbol of Flamengo, the day after that fateful game where they threw a vulture onto the Maracanã pitch, and I made it more modern," he explained.
