Straight from video games to the training fields of Flamengo's training center. That's the image Ronaldinho Gaúcho must convey to the boys in the youth divisions, who idolize the star. This Thursday (January 20.01th), one of them in particular had an arduous mission: to mark the new number 10. And even with this difficult task, he described it as the realization of a dream.
Quiroga went onto the field to train with the professional players. A practice match was held, and he ended up having to mark the striker, who had been twice elected the best player in the world. It wasn't an easy task, but one he undertook with great pleasure.
"It was a dream and at the same time very difficult. I had only seen him play on television. Training alongside Ronaldinho is amazing. He's an extraordinary guy," said the young Flamengo midfielder shyly, hoping to repeat the experience whenever 'called up'.
"An opportunity like this can be unique. It would be a dream to continue working among professionals. I have to seize these opportunities with all my might and show good work," Quiroga stated.
A product of the youth academy, Quiroga has another important commitment this Thursday (January 20.01th): to cheer on his friends who will be competing for a spot in the semifinals of the São Paulo Junior Cup, against Coritiba, at 21 pm.
"Everyone who's there is my teammate. Today's game is very important. I'll be watching and cheering hard for Flamengo to win and continue the fight for the second championship," he concluded.
