About two months before the Peruvian premiere of the film "Guerrero," which will tell the story of Flamengo's number 9 and Peruvian football's greatest idol, young Rony Shapiama, who will portray the player on the big screen, visited the club's headquarters. The 10-year-old with the easy smile was captivated by the Mais Querido's interactive exhibit and the official field.

While Rony's eyes shone in Gávea, the film's producer, Roxana, told what the boy's first meeting with his idol was like.
"It was beautiful when they met. We were in a beautiful landscape, recording with Rony in Rio, and Guerrero arrived and kicked the ball around with him. We all cried, it was very emotional," he recalled.
Rony has no acting experience, but his physical resemblance, personality, and life story earned him the role of Paolo Guerrero as a child in the film. The boy was born in a poor neighborhood of Lima and, without his father, who died when he was two years old, was raised by his grandparents. In June of this year, Rony was chosen from among 3 applicants for the role in a contest held by a Peruvian television channel by, among other judges, none other than Guerrero's mother, Peta González.
"This is a wonderful experience. Guerrero is my idol, when we met I was very emotional. I'm really looking forward to the film's premiere," said Rony, who posed next to the world champion number 9 Manto with Nunes, now Guerrero.
The film's release in Peru is scheduled for December 8, the same date that the Peruvian striker's uncle, José Manuel González, then goalkeeper for Alianza Lima, died in a plane crash in 1987.
