A red-and-black wall! In excellent form in Mengão's goal, Rossi was named the best goalkeeper in the Brasileirão in May. Before training this Wednesday (11), the number 1 received a symbolic trophy in honor of the award. Last month, the Argentine played four matches in the national competition and saved a penalty in the duel against Palmeiras, being decisive in the red-and-black's 2-0 victory away from home.

Having recently completed 100 matches wearing the Sacred Mantle, Rossi is enjoying his best moment since joining Flamengo. A few days ago, he appeared on Flamengo TV's "Mengocast" program and spoke about his strong performances in goal for the red-and-blacks:

"I'm very happy to have reached 100 appearances for Flamengo. And even happier with the choice I made when I decided to leave Argentina to play for Flamengo. I don't consider myself an idol yet; I have a lot to achieve here to become one."

With Rossi, Flamengo travels tonight to the United States, where they will compete in the FIFA Club World Cup. Flamengo is in Group D alongside Espérance, Chelsea, and Los Angeles FC.
